叶永烈如何写出180部著作？

  著名作家叶永烈的很多著作，是在妻子杨惠芬协助下问世的。
  白天叶永烈在上海市作家协会上班，傍晚吃饭后杨惠芬照看两个年幼的孩子，他开始趴在很矮的小饭桌上写作，写好的稿子放在菜篮子里吊起来。
  大量的资料查找，长期的伏案工作，导致叶永烈的眼睛每况愈下，只得去医院检查，确诊是视网膜脱落，已经十分严重了，当即在医院做手术。
  叶永烈做完手术，医生用纱布将他的眼睛蒙起来，并嘱咐他一个月内不准看书看报、不准写作。
  接受手术回家休养，叶永烈觉得日子比较难熬，他在心里自言自语地说：“我成天躺在书房里的椅子上，四周满是书报，却不能看一眼，犹如一个口干已极的人在清潭中游泳，却不能喝一口水！”
  叶永烈是闲不住的作家，对他来说停止写作是很痛苦的事，只能闭着眼睛在纸上盲写，由妻子帮忙抄录，为他将凌乱的初稿，端端正正地誊写下来。
  对于叶永烈的盲写杨惠芬说：“他眼睛不看，我拿一个木头的板子给他，上面有一张白纸，他拿着笔在上面写，写出的字，歪歪扭扭的，有时候是重重叠叠的，然后我再帮他抄。”
  看到叶永烈盲写过分吃力，杨慧芬提议使用录音创作法，由他将构思好的内容念出来，自己先用录音机录取，再听录音磁带把文字整理出来。
  采用录音创作法，杨惠芬整理稿子异常辛苦，叶永烈在惭愧中感叹：“真是天无绝人之路，只是苦了我的妻子。”
  令叶永烈失望的是，眼睛做手术效果不好，左眼很快没有视力，右眼又是800度近视。
  视网膜脱落往往会两只眼相继发作，医生向叶永烈提出建议：“你最好换少用眼睛的职业，尽量不要再写东西了，否则发展下去不用说工作，就是日常生活都将难以自理。”
  叶永烈告诉医生：“我特别喜欢写作，不想换别的职业。”
  在绞尽脑汁后，叶永烈想出很好的办法，用电脑代笔。
  叶永烈52岁那年，杨惠芬去买来一台当时最新的286电脑，让他成为最早用电脑创作的中国作家。
  得到电脑叶永烈十分满意：“用电脑写不像手写那样累，字可以放得很大，眼睛就轻松多了。”
  2009年10月31日，著名科学家钱学森去世，享年98岁。
  接受上海交通大学出版社邀请，叶永烈准备写钱学森传记，并开始搜集材料。
  叶永烈到浙江省杭州市走访钱学森故居，采访他的亲戚。
  杨惠芬随时在叶永烈身边提供帮助：“无论他走到哪里，我都会到哪里。在外出的时候，我随时关注他吃药，他关注我血压。他去采访，我帮助他录音摄影，我们真的形影不离。”
  经过废寝忘食的忙碌，叶永烈写的《钱学森传》迅速出版，在读者中引起轰动。
  叶永烈已经出版180多部著作，总共约有3500万字，是真正高产的作家。
  在功成名就后叶永烈认为，自己能够写出数量很大的作品，应该归功于拥有安定愉快的家庭，妻子对他的创作非常重要，世界上令他感到幸福和骄傲的，并非使他名扬中外的著作，而是忠厚贤淑的妻子、幸福和睦的家庭。
  对于杨慧芬给予的帮助，叶永烈凭借切身感受写道：“我专心致志地投入创作中，妻子不仅承担了所有家务，而且还是我的左膀右臂，如果没有她的大力支持，我就无法写出几百部作品。”
