圣祚隆长寺简介

    原为汉经厂外厂，明万历四十五年（1617年）奉敕建寺。清乾隆二十一年（1756年）重修。该寺坐北朝南，中轴线上原有山门、钟鼓楼、天王殿、前殿、后殿，石门额上书“敕建护国圣祚隆长寺”。寺内现存清乾隆二十一年（1756年）御制隆长寺诗碑。2011年7月被西城区政府公布为区级文物保护单位。

Shengzuolongchang Temple

The temple was built in the 45th year of Ming Emperor Wanli's reign (1617) on the site of an official printing workshop for Buddhist sutras in Chinese. It was rebuilt in the 21st year of Qianlong's reign (1756). Inside the temple erects the poem tablet commissioned by the Qianlong Emperor's order in the 21st year of his reign (1756).
